Mrs Taggart
Hello! I grew up in Bismarck, ND and did my undergraduate studies in Microbiology/Chemistry at North Dakota State University in Fargo. After graduation, I worked at General Mills Inc. in Research and Development for 15 years. I returned to school in 2002 to complete my Master's degree in Elementary Education at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul with a teaching license in preschool-6th grade. This is my 21st year as a teacher with 17 of them being right here at St. Stephens. I love that I get to share my passion of science and math with students! It makes my heart happy that along with an academic journey, we get to also grow in our faith together every day. I look forward to meeting each new smiling face as a 4th grader in our classroom. Three words that I will use in my classroom this year are: Acceptance, Compassion, and Kindness. We will be working on knowing ourselves as well as respecting others.
Outside of school, my husband I can be found fishing on Lake of the Woods year-round, spending time with our adult children and adorable twin grand boys or camping with our friends.
